We just experienced the Cow Parade here in town. It's like the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain except that the cows just walk very slowly. In the swealtering heat, the only ones getting trampled were those pushing to catch a bit of shade in the next guy's shadow.
PS. The picture to the left is not from that monumental day, but images much like these were used to keep the cow's moral up during training. They were instructed to picture themselves in a cool, refreshing place, feeling free and doing what they've always dreamed of...... |
